Creating Threads of Connection

Thread connections across the city through our Crowdfunding Campaign to raise $15,000! Your donation will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $7,500, doubling your impact!

Every week, your support helps:

  • 450 recent immigrant and underserved youth receive mentorship and tutoring
  • 1,800 foodbank users improve food security
  • 350 students volunteer, reflect, and grow

Michelle Urbanek, coordinator of the Learning And Fun afterschool club says, “The connections the Student Open Circles mentors form with the kids is beautiful to watch. We’re seeing better behaviors from the kids because SOC volunteers model good behavior, as well as better engagement in activities and improved school marks because mentors help with homework.

Help us weave belonging, kindness, and growth for students and thousands in the Hamilton community.
